I’m a visual designer with a background in technology. My journey started in software development, but I quickly realized I was more interested in how things looked and felt rather than just how they functioned. That led me to pursue an MFA in Visual Communication Design at RIT, where I set out to find the best of both worlds. Typography is at the heart of my work—it’s where every project begins for me. The right typeface sets the tone, personality, and entire visual language. I experiment with form, structure, and meaning to craft design that doesn’t just communicate but leaves an impression. Beyond design, music fuels me—it hits frequencies in my body and mind that nothing else can, charging me up for the creative process. Lately, I’ve been channeling that same energy into cooking, always experimenting and trying to get better. To me, cooking for myself is also design. Design, for me, isn’t just about hopping from one project to the next. It’s about crafting systems that align with my intrinsic desires. It’s an ongoing process of shaping a life that feels intentional. If you’d like to talk about design (or grotesque fonts), let’s connect!
