My approach to Design is to simplify and deconstruct words and concepts in an impactful visual language that meets its function and stays in people’s memories.
I combine a creative side – that is always daydreaming and sketching new ideas – with a very rational and goal-oriented mind – that focuses on the job that has to be done.
With nearly two decades of experience in creating design solutions in multi platforms and managing projects, teams, suppliers and clients, I have a strong track record of: driving tv design & tv productions; project management; brand & identity design; graphic, print, digital and packaging design; illustration and artistic projects.
Things I am proud of:
· Being national champion in long jump at 17 years-old;
· Winning several design and illustration awards – e.g. “Jovens Criadores”;
· Opening a design agency at 23 years-old;
· Being responsible for the MTV Portugal Brand & Promotion at 24 years-old;
· Being a video jamming artist during a decade;
· Creating a fashion event from scratch;
· Remodeling from top to bottom my own house – designing the architectural project; construction management; interior design…;
· Having two incredible kids.
