I'm a student from Colby-Sawyer College pursing a BFA in graphic design with a double minor in studio art and contemporary marketing. Through my previous work at Colby-Sawyer, I have gained extensive experience in areas of digital design, illustration, typography and photography. I have a solid foundation in the use of Adobe Software, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Lightroom, and some levels of video editing. My marketing and business courses have also provided me with the benefit of obtaining skills involving knowledge in social media marketing, consumer advertisement, and user experience research. Outside class engagement, I have worked with the Colby-Sawyer Baird Health and Counseling Center to create flyers for UWill, a free student teletherapy mental health service. I have also had the opportunity to work with WoodCrest Village Senior Living in New London, NH, where I was granted the privilege of creating and showcasing a non-profit gallery of some of my personal works in art and photography to the residents and faculty there. My most recent and gratifying experience in graphic design has been my spring internship of 2024 with the NH Center for the Arts in the Lake Sunapee Region. In this internship, I worked closely with the head of the non-profit program and marketing team to design a new website and social media outlook to represent the organization and its place in supporting the local community and young artists. This position included close and effective communication between myself and others through assisting in the creation of a new website. Personal projects in this included icons and website banner design, local advertising and marketing, infographic design, social media posts and templates through both hand-design skills and adobe programming.
