Storyboard artist and multi award winning 2D animation enthusiast🤘 Pivoting to team driven projects I have mostly freelanced in various visual storytelling or illustration work, and successfully had a registered business since graduating in 2019 for my art explorations. I am people-driven and a collaborator at heart and love to get involved in team productions, particularly long-term projects I can really commit to bringing success to by channeling my natural attachment to building characters and worlds that stimulate and intrigue. My work centers around expressing parts of immigrant identities, neurodivergence, social issues, and a hopeful focus on progress through the rock and roll power of cartoons, from kids to adults. I initially focused on growing skills as a writer and dissected the elements of competence in story beats, building tension and a world that’s immersive before pivoting to a commitment in studying animation in 2016 due to recognizing its power in changing hearts and minds. After settling in Los Angeles, I chose to return to school to use education as means to push my own limits and break the boundaries of what was previously possible by cementing arts and story principles. I am still working at this to this day but have been blessed with the opportunities to represent my institution on television numerous times, use it as a platform to help others and to sustain employment as a student worker that has prepared me for the future. Creatively I cannot help but constantly make something out of day to day experiences. Doing so has encouraged me to take classes in items like childhood development, ethnic studies and psychology to have a better understanding of making more impactful media. I’m currently rocking the indie animation circuit. Hope to be a part of something wicked cool 😎
