Hi, I'm Rui Portulez. I hold a degree in Communication Sciences from FCSH - NOVA University of Lisbon, and I completed postgraduate studies in Portuguese Studies and in Writing Arts at FCSH - NOVA, Lisbon. I also finished the Advanced Proofreading Course at the University of Lisbon. These studies shaped my path across writing, editing, publishing, and cultural programming. Over the years I’ve worn many hats: curator, editor, producer, radio host, documentary filmmaker, and poet. I’ve curated the Manhouce Literary Festival, produced albums for artists like Filipe Sambado and Samuel Úria, hosted Multipistas on Rádio SBSR, released poetry with Urutau Publishing, and worked as a freelance proofreader for Editorial Presença. In 2025 I’ll publish A primavera do nosso desconfinamento with Traça Editora.
