Hi, I’m Rubén Fernández, a 2D/3D Senior Animator based in Madrid with extensive experience creating character animation, cinematic sequences, and visual storytelling for games and digital content. My work spans leading animation pipelines for mobile games and directing art direction for online channels, always focusing on clear storytelling, clean design, and lively-to-life character motion. Most recently I served as Art Director for the YouTube channel The Moonies at Sunny Side Up Studios (Madrid) from May 2018 to January 2024, and I previously led animation at Gameloft on games such as Funny Hospital, Dragon Mania, and Love Boat Puzzle Cruise. Earlier, I created 2D artwork for Zinkia Entertainment (Shuriken School, Poco Yo) and contributed as a 3D animator on Gods of Rome.
