This score was created as part of an entry in the Indie Film Music Contest. All the music is my original work. I sought to create recognizable material for the zookeeper and the bear character. Matching the emotional intensity of the film as the story progressed was a key element to my process of helping to tell the story through the score.

This soundtrack was written for the Indie Film Music Contest. All music is my original work. I wanted to create a hybrid score using traditional instruments, extended techniques with those instruments, and synths together to create the emotional tension required for the film.
This score was written to accompany the lighting of the beacons scene from The Return of the King. It starts at the moment the hobbit is climbing a stone pillar to secretly light the first beacon and continues as the camera flies through varying landscapes as each successive beacon is lit, and ends with the protagonist rushing into the great hall of Rohan to tell the king that Gondor has called for aid. (Character names excluded for copyright)

This cue was written to the final scene in Disney's Atlantis. As the main character climbs a large pillar, the camera pulls back, revealing the expanse of the city of Atlantis restored to its former glory.

This cue was written to accompany a scene from the film 2012. In the scene, the President of the US is discussing a memory from a shared past with a staff member. The scene deals with the discussion of dealing with the cataclysmic situation the world faces. Combining elements of nostalgia and determination, this cue follows the emotional evolution of the scene.

This cue was written to accompany an emotionally charged slow drama scene from the film Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. The deleted scene shows the protagonist discovering a disturbing former lab run by the elusive antagonist of the film. I tried to represent the shock and sadness of the characters at the sight of evidence of horrific experimentation and the narrative of a survivor of the cruel scientists' work.

This was written as an accompaniment to a low-intensity action cue in the film 2012. I opted for a hybrid score to heighten suspense and tension in the scene, while also capturing the industrial essence of the machine (ship). The scene plays out as a race against time to prevent a collision between a vessel and an ice-covered land mass.
