I specialize in documentary cinematography, and camera and drone operating. My educational background consists of a B.A. in Cinema-Television with an International Studies Minor, as well as an M.A. in Organizational Leadership with a Social Entrepreneurship concentration. I desire to combine these two fields of study to maximize the impact of social documentary work and tell stories that resonate deeply with audiences and generate real change. I currently work full-time as a videographer and editor in the television industry, pursuing documentaries as my passion projects. Recent projects I am most proud of include “Protective Styles,” (director, DP, producer, editor) a short documentary discovering the social and cultural significance of the hair journeys of various African American women, “Investigating the Supernatural,” (camera operator) feature documentary series exploring the presence of supernatural powers in our world, and “Who Do You Say That I Am,” (DP/editor) a music video accompanying a spoken word piece written by individuals experiencing homelessness in Norfolk, VA.
Ultimately, I desire to document and curate visuals that honor real stories, raw emotions, and lived experiences that resonate deeply with audiences.
