paper Bury Me Please In The Puget Sound

‘Bury Me Please In The Puget Sound’ is a folk album written in the rocks, salt, sea, and sand of Washington’s Puget Sound. The imagery this album encapsulates ranges from a railroad track deep in the North Cascades, to the pristine backroads of the middle of nowhere, to the breaking point, to the islands, to someone new, and to the bottom of the ocean.

    paper After You Left Me

‘After You Left Me’ is a folk/rock EP I released in October 2022. The three-song project tells the story of a relationship broken by distance. The first song, ‘Halfway To Colorado’, is from the perspective of the man who gets his heartbroken when his partner leaves him for bigger things in Colorado. The second song, ‘Smoke & Whiskey’, is from the woman’s perspective, and gives a deeper explanation of why she had to get away from that relationship. The third song, ‘Trying To get Home (when you’re under the influence)’, is a culmination of the heartache that both people experienced. It talks about how you can know that something is horrible and dangerous, but you can still love a person regardless of their negative actions.
