About
Hi, I’m Sana Haq. I am an award-winning documentary producer and academic leader with 10+ years of experience leading end-to-end productions and cross-functional teams. I’m skilled at managing budgets, grants, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact content for professional audiences, and I thrive on turning complex ideas into compelling storytelling.
In my role as Assistant Professor of Practice at the University of Miami, I design and teach courses, mentor students and graduate TAs, and contribute to academic policy and cross-cultural engagement. I also shepherd documentary projects from concept through distribution, supported by fellowships and grants, and I actively engage with student organizations to foster inclusive communities and meaningful programming.
