I am a passionate and dedicated author and illustrator experienced in creating impactful and personalized children's literature. I am adept at utilizing a diverse skill set in art, literature, and education to produce engaging and meaningful content for young readers. I have my B.A. in English Literature with an emphasis on British Literature, Poetry, Secondary Education and Special Education. I am trained in storyboarding, editing, and many art styles-my education and work as a contract illustrator has blended to create in me a keen eye for storytelling, particularly for children, through the written word and imagery. I am proficient in ink, graphite, watercolor, and oils and can create classical art, realism, or cartoon. I have been hired as a contract illustrator and have worked with many authors to bring their stories to life. Four of these have gone to publication. I am writing and illustrating my own stories, but it is so delightful to work to bring other's stories to life.
