In the last 5 years, Sasha served as Adjunct and a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, teaching Drawing and Design Fundamentals, Figure Drawing, as well as Illustration classes. He was born in Azerbaijan at the end of the Soviet Union and grew up in Khabarovsk, on the Chinese border of the Russian Far East. His journey abroad began at 17, attending Pearson College, one of the United World Colleges, in British Columbia, Canada. He holds his bachelors in International Business, and Marketing with Visual Arts Emphasis from Westminster College (Fulton, Missouri, 2010); and MFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design (Savannah, GA, 2017). With an extensive artistic background, he spent the last 25 years expanding his traditional skills into illustration, graphic design, marketing, business, and teaching. His creative passions lie in portraiture, figure drawing, illustration, design, as well as sculpture. Sasha is enthusiastic about working collaboratively.
