Hi, I’m Scott Wilk. I’m a composer, producer, musician and sound designer based in Los Angeles. For more than four decades I’ve created music for film, television, animation and large-scale live events, working with major brands and acclaimed artists.
I’ve scored features including The Mix and Valley Girl, and scores for clients such as Cisco, BMW, Oracle and Autodesk. I’ve released recordings as a Warner Bros. Records artist and have publishing deals with Warner-Chappell Music, Qwest and Emerald Forest.
My work spans songs for Ted 2, Revenge of the Nerds, Beverly Hills Cop II and Dennis Hopper’s The Hot Spot, plus TV placements like Family Guy. I scored Duckman for ACME Music Works and have contributed to Cannes Palm D’Or- and Clio Award-winning campaigns for NTT. I’ve collaborated with James Brown, Grace Jones, Terri Nunn and Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen. I love telling stories through sound and guiding projects from concept to final mix.
