The Cities Alliance/UNOPS Global Programme on Cities and Migration (Phase II, 2022–2026) aims to empower secondary cities to manage migration and urban growth. It supports secondary cities—including Arua, Jinja, Koboko (Uganda), Adama, and Jigjiga (Ethiopia)—in developing inclusive services for refugees and IDPs.
An estimated three million hauliers roam the roads of Europe, literally driving Europe’s economy. They transport virtually everything we buy or use but the drivers themselves are often exhausted, overworked and underpaid. Many transport companies exploit EU loopholes to use Eastern European drivers on on local contracts with little or no social security benefits to work in Western Europe.
5 a.m. in Bratislava. Marek and his colleagues will be driving to Belgium, over a thousand kilometres away. They’ll be away from their families for months, living out of their trucks and sleeping in parking lots. For a salary that is only half of what some of their colleagues from the West get for the same job.
Filmed in a dozen countries, this film investigates the working conditions of truckers across Europe and what could be done to improve them.
NGO I created with three friends in 2012 to narrate and showcase the power of football as a social tool for the integration and well-being of children across the world.
The documentary here was shot in India but we filmed one association in each country: Israel/Palestine, Rwanda, South Africa, India, Thailand, Brazil, Argentina and then in Europe during the Euro 2012.

Dublin’s Trap gives a voice to politicians, intellectuals, activists, extremists and immigrants in order to understand how austerity measures in times of economic crisis, combined with an unprecedented influx of immigrants and an uneven repatriation mechanism, known as Dublin II, fosters racial tensions, increased nationalism and a humanitarian crisis at Europe’s external borders.
