Jeremiah’s art and animation are fun, beautiful, and are made to inspire creativity and experimentation in the audiences that engage with them. Jeremiah’s studio practice utilizes fiber art, painting, drawing, puppet making and ceramics, all of which are combined to create unique animated shorts. Highly skilled in the Adobe Suite, Jeremiah has taught animation at the college level, and utilizes ongoing virtual learning to incorporate new technologies into an always evolving use of new media. Jeremiah’s animations have millions of youtube views, has been exhibited at prominent art spaces, private collections, and museums around the world. Jeremiah’s animation has inspired merchandising, including a charming plush based on the stop-motion puppet from Chipmunk At The Gas Pump!
Over the course of their career, Jeremiah’s multimedia art practice has made them a go-to collaborator for museum education departments, design teams, art advisors, and premier clients in NYC, Chicago, and LA. Jeremiah has taught youth art classes at esteemed institutions like the Guggenheim, MoMA, and The American Folk Art Museum, among many others. From 2015-2020 Jeremiah operated Iris & Electra Co. a small creative lab, where they created animations for clients, video art installations for public spaces, educational films, and motion graphics, as well as creating and designing art collections of traditional framed art for boutique hotels, offices, and private clients.
