The documentary presents the history of Greek punk, the origin and the development of a subculture in a country that has experienced the transition from a military junta to European democracy. It describes the reaction of the young people at the time, who tried to express their voice in a turbulent and uncertain socio-political situation.

It involves representatives of different generations (those born in the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s and the children of the digital era), who tell the story of their personal paths in the context of music and their rebellion through it.

The documentary is entitled “Until you become the king of fools”. It may sound contradictory, but it contains within itself the essence of the development of the punk scene. The music that arises from the pure need to oppose the system, to express genuine disagreement with the established routines, today is just as commercialized as ‘stadium rock’ and pop culture.

A Documentary about the Montreal punk scene. Features interviews from more than 30 people from bands that are based in Montreal as well as from record store owners , venue managers, booking promoters and fanzine owners. The interviewers discussed how was things back in the late 70’s, what happened now and finally what is so special about the MTL Punk Scene.

The Documentary features unreleased footage material from bands like : The Normals , Complications , Melted Faces , The Real Deal, The Horny Bitches, Arsenal Of Empties and many many others.

An artistic socio-historical documentary regarding the alternative form of expression and the alternative art scene in Greece in the Greek crisis era. The documentary focuses on authenticity and the power of this movement. Over the years, the Greek alternative scene of the arts flourished, collapsed and resurfaced. With one its part, the Greek scene, either in film or in poetry, music, radio, etc. was one of a kind, and still is. The film captures the situation of what was going on back then, the rise of the Greek crisis, and the final “bang”, By a fiction aesthetic, and a series of interviews of several people who helped in the rise of the Greek art scene in the late 60’s up to the present day, the viewer will have a more thorough out view of the art scene in the “Country of Decline.”
