Hey! I’m Faria, a video editor and visual creative with a background in graphic design, photography and digital media. A lot of my experience is in creating "short-form content for social media", especially Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts and Facebook. I enjoy taking raw footage and figuring out how to turn it into something people actually want to watch — whether that means tightening the pacing, finding the right music, adding subtitles, playing with transitions or simply knowing what to cut and what to keep. One of my biggest strengths is "storytelling". I’ve always been interested in how visuals, sound and pacing can completely change the way a story feels. Even with a 15 or 30-second video, I like to think about what the viewer should feel, what should catch their attention and what will keep them watching until the end. My creative background plays a big part in the way I edit. I studied "Visual Communication Design at the National College of Arts" and later completed my "Master’s in Media and Communications at Macquarie University in Sydney". That combination of design and media has given me a strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition and how to communicate an idea without overcomplicating it. I mainly work with "Adobe Premiere Pro", along with "Photoshop and Illustrator", and I also have experience with "After Effects". Since I’ve worked across video, design and photography, I’m comfortable adapting to different visual styles and brand personalities.
