About

Hi! I’m Ricardo Severo, composer, music producer, and advertising professional. I specialize in sound dramaturgy and research immersive sound, which I use in many of my works. I have received over 20 awards for my musical scores. I produced some of the instrumental soundtracks for TV Globo soap operas (Brazil), in addition to original music for many documentaries and fiction films (my credits are on IMDb). I have also composed original music for dance, theater, and musical theater performances, working with many renowned directors here in Brazil.

I was a university professor in undergraduate (radio production), postgraduate (sound for film), and technical school (sound design for theater) programs. I hold a Master’s degree in Performing Arts from the University of São Paulo and am a PhD candidate in Music (at the same university). Ready for new and challenging projects.
