About

Hi, I’m Md. Shamim Hasan, a detail-oriented video editor based in Bagerhat, Bangladesh. I specialize in turning raw footage into cinematic, engaging videos for YouTube, social media, and brands. With about five years of hands-on editing, I focus on storytelling, pacing, and visual effects to keep audiences hooked, and I’m proficient with advanced editing tools to deliver polished results.

In my freelance career, I’ve produced and edited hundreds of videos and earned 5-star ratings across Upwork, Fiverr, and direct clients. I’ve worked with creators and agencies across five countries, delivering faceless explainers, wedding highlights, and cinematic reels. My process covers end-to-end production—script planning, editing, thumbnail creation, and SEO optimization—leading to improved audience retention (up to 70%+ on YouTube) and consistent client satisfaction.

Football documentary videos and highlight videos for YouTube

I worked on a football-themed documentary video titled “How McTominay Conquered Napoli”, produced for a YouTube channel focused on storytelling around footballers and clubs. This video explores the journey of Scott McTominay from Manchester United to becoming a Serie A champion with Napoli in 2024-25. My responsibility was to bring the script to life using dynamic editing techniques, relevant football footage, on-screen text, smooth transitions, background music, and visual storytelling that maintains engagement throughout the entire video.
