Research Insights for Advancing Quality Early Childhood Education and Care Delivery in Kenya

    Yale University Policy Brief Design
Designed a high-impact policy brief for Yale University to support a closed-door workshop in Nairobi Kenya, focused on scaling an early childhood education and care intervention. The brief translated two years of research findings into a clear, accessible, visually engaging format for an audience of senior government officials, donors, foundation leaders, and development partners.
Working under an extremely tight turnaround, I developed the layout in Canva to allow the Yale team to make last-minute copy edits while preserving visual structure and print readiness. The design emphasized a strong first-page executive summary, clear hierarchy, accessible language, and integrated photography to balance dense policy content with human-centered storytelling.
The final brief was prepared for both digital sharing and physical printing, with consideration for local production timelines in Kenya and India. The project combined rapid editorial adaptation, stakeholder-responsive design, and practical print logistics to help the team communicate research impact and make a compelling case for government-led scale-up.
Role: Policy brief design, layout, visual hierarchy, print preparation
    Client: Yale University
Audience: Government officials, donors, foundation leaders, and development partners
Tools: Canva , Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
    Turnaround: Rapid / time-sensitive project - 5 days
