I am Polydina Flynt, an interdisciplinary author and narrative designer working at the intersection of literary fiction, cinematic storytelling, and interactive art. My writing explores consciousness, technology, and identity through a lens of surrealism and psychological realism, balancing emotional intimacy with structural experimentation. My body of work includes the novella cycle: Destined for Perfection, Shards of the Wall, Group Therapy, and Pixels vs Symbols; the nerdCulture zine series (Coffee & Conversations, The Awkward Punk’s Focus Thought Revolution, and Potato); and finished pieces such as The Worker and the Hitchhiker: an homage to communism, and Process: part one. With a background in screenwriting, art direction, and digital media, I craft immersive, transmedia experiences that traverse literature, film, and design. I have been recognized by the NZ Society of Authors with a mentorship award in 2012 and will serve as a judge for the Te Pae Tawhiti NZ Speculative Fiction Awards in 2026.
