I specialize in UX, Product Design and Usability for complex web applications (CRMs, ERPs, SaaS) and mobile apps in industries as ๐Ÿฉบ Healthcare, ๐Ÿค– AI and ๐Ÿฆ Finance, among others. During my 15 years career I helped startups building award-winning products and achieving successful acquisitions for more than โ‚ฌ50M. I also had the chance to collaborate with international companies and participate in the shaping of digital Pharmacy revolution in Portugal as Head of Product Design. -- Why I believe UX Design is still the differentiator to make a product stand out in 2026? Around ten years ago, a good idea and a working product were enough to win a market, but in 2026 users have endless options, AI has made building cheap and fast and ideas reach market fast. The factor that decides whether a product survives is almost never the technology, it's whether people can actually use it. I've spent 15 years working on products where this matters most: the kind of software with real business logic underneath, where confusing flows don't just annoy a user, it costs the company productivity, money, time, and trust. What I've learned is that if there's something worse than bad design, it's decisions made too early, before asking whether the flow made sense, or if the feature matched how people actually work, or if it was worth building at all. When a product is stuck, too complex, poorly adopted, or in its third redesign with the same problems, that's where I come in: I map where the experience breaks and why and redesign it from the logic up, not just the surface. I come from a development background, so I work closely with engineering teams and my deliverables are always Figma-ready for clean handoff. โ€“ Why I believe UX Design is still the differentiator to make a product stand out in 2026?

Around ten years ago, a good idea and a working product were enough to win a market, but in 2026 users have endless options, AI has made building cheap and fast and ideas reach market fast. The factor that decides whether a product survives is almost never the technology, itโ€™s whether people can actually use it.

Iโ€™ve spent 15 years working on products where this matters most: the kind of software with real business logic underneath, where confusing flows donโ€™t just annoy a user, it costs the company productivity, money, time, and trust. What Iโ€™ve learned is that if thereโ€™s something worse than bad design, itโ€™s decisions made too early, before asking whether the flow made sense, or if the feature matched how people actually work, or if it was worth building at all.

When a product is stuck, too complex, poorly adopted, or in its third redesign with the same problems, thatโ€™s where I come in: I map where the experience breaks and why and redesign it from the logic up, not just the surface.

I come from a development background, so I work closely with engineering teams and my deliverables are always Figma-ready for clean handoff.
