This is a podcast series of 15-minute conversations with experts in various aspects of leading a church. On this occasion I did not make the recordings myself, but I optimised them to make them broadcast quality. I mainly used iZotope RX Advanced and Logic Pro.
This is a series for an eating disorder charity called Tastelife. Working with my wife Amy we recorded on location at Tastelife HQ, edited the audio into a cohesive narrative and optimised it for broadcast. We used our Røde NT2 and Audio Technica AT4033 condenser mics, iZotope plug-ins especially RX Advanced, and Logic Pro. I also composed and produced the theme tune.
I am always working on new material. This how I describe my mood spectrum:
Uptempo / airy / immediate < > downtempo / eerie / slow-burning
I play drums and guitars and programme everything else (strings, keys, synths, brass etc) using Logic Pro, Ableton Live and Novation controllers. I operate from a 25 sq.m. professional home studio.
