My name is Sebastian Kauderer, and I’m an NYC-based music composer dedicated to creating mold-breaking productions that truly accentuate the screen viewing experience. Fueled by cinematic values since age 8, I have an extensive background translating raw emotions into storytelling music that captivates beyond just the ears. Even more, enjoy leveraging that history to not just develop soundtracks that can be heard worldwide, but also to inspire others in this industry on leaving their own marks along the way. I began my musical studies at a young age and later studied at Escuela de Música Contemporanea in Argentina and Berklee College of Music in Boston. During this time, I was awarded the ‘Herb Pomeroy Award’ for outstanding composition and arrangements and concurrently mastered the art of piano. Since then, I have utilized every inch of this creative passion to develop a -still growing- inventory of compositions. To date, I have collaborated with some of the world's most illustrious musicians on global stages, with the more notable performances including the London Philarmonia, LA Philharmonic, Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra and Argentina National Symphony Orchestra. Along with that, I’ve also composed the original soundtrack for numerous films such as, (but not limited to) the Academy Award Winner “The Secret in Their Eyes” for Best Foreign Language Film, composing the score for "Border Run", and working alongside with Academy Award Winner Alex Dinelaris in his movie "In This, Our Time". Furthermore, I’ve worked on many TV series for various networks like HBO, Apple TV+, History Channel, Bravo, MTV, VH1, and Discovery Channel, with the most momentous highlights being the TV series "VICE" and "Long Way Up" featuring Ewan McGregor. Overall, nothing motivates me more than delivering storytelling content that enables others to reach new levels of success. I design my music on a foundation of authenticity and demonstrate that ignited storytelling passion by unlocking new levels of immersive compositions that captivate scene to scene. This, in conjunction with my reputation for creating pieces that stem right from the heart, is what ultimately led me to become the respected (and passionate) artist I am today – one who continuously strives to raise the bar.
