Feeling Lost? Nietzsche Saw This Coming
Cinematic YouTube Short | Thinking in Dark Times
Project Bio:
This 90-second short invites viewers into a moment of inner collapse—and quiet rebirth. Inspired by Nietzsche’s concept of the “second birth,” the piece explores what it means to reconstruct the self through pain, rather than escaping it.
I wrote and performed the spoken narration in a calm, poetic tone, layered with ambient trap instrumentation designed to hold emotional tension without resolution. The visual design uses glitch-heavy, surreal imagery to depict identity disintegration and reformation—a subtle nod to philosophical individuation.
As part of the Thinking in Dark Times series, this piece merges existential thought with digital poetry, aimed at overthinkers, artists, and anyone quietly rebuilding themselves in a chaotic world.

Philosophical YouTube Short | Thinking in Dark Times
Project Bio:
This 59-second visual poem speaks to those feeling disoriented in a noisy world. “You’re Not Lost. Just Distracted from the Truth.” is part of the Thinking in Dark Times series—poetic, ambient shorts designed to soothe existential fatigue while sparking quiet inner shifts.
I wrote and voiced the piece using a calm, cinematic tone, paired with ambient trap instrumentation to support the emotional pacing. Visually, I paired symbolic imagery (a solitary, glowing figure against surreal hues) with glitch-style transitions to reflect the distortion of truth in the modern mind.
This short embodies the channel’s core blend: moody sound design, poetic narration, and visuals that feel dreamlike yet grounded—crafted for overthinkers, slow dreamers, and anyone caught between burnout and awakening.
Longform Lo-Fi Visual Narrative | Sleepy Motions YouTube Channel
Project Bio:
“Boomer Kempsen Tries 9 to 5” is a 60-minute painterly lo-fi experience that blends humor, melancholy, and surreal realism through the eyes of a stoner-philosopher navigating a corporate workday. I led the full production, from original music composition to scene design and audio storytelling.
I composed custom ambient trap and EDM-inspired loops in FL Studio to mirror Boomer’s shifting emotional states—from sleepy morning apathy to overstimulated office chaos and existential burnout. Each visual scene was AI-generated in a consistent painterly anime style, then animated and timed in CapCut to match the beat transitions and mood.
This project showcases my ability to build emotionally resonant sonic environments, score narrative arcs with original music, and produce immersive visual storytelling from concept to completion. It lives on my Sleepy Motions channel as part of an ongoing series exploring quiet rebellion, absurdity, and introspection through Boomer’s world.
