I am a computational biologist with a PhD in biostatistics. While I generally work with genomics data, I am currently on sabbatical while I try to transition back to women’s health research and seeking short-term statistics contract or consulting roles. I am an expert R user, an excellent communicator, and skilled statistician, and would love to take on general data science and data visualization projects outside of my biotech/genomics wheelhouse.

January 1, 2023 - January 1, 2025Coordinated resourcing and timelines for analytical validation analyses and reports in collaboration with the development, regulatory, and project management teams. Managed a team of 2 computational biologists, in addition to independent contributor responsibilities described below.
Senior Computational Biologist II at Freenome
January 1, 2023 - January 1, 2023Designed experiments, performed simulation studies, analyzed cell-free DNA methylation and protein data, and wrote protocols and reports to support IVD product development. Contributed to pre-submission documents and teleconference presentations to propose and negotiate analytical validation study designs with the FDA. Worked with wet lab and modeling research teams to create test sets from existing experimental data and design new experiments to inform future model development. Supervised an intern investigating sources of variability in sequencing QC metrics.
Senior Computational Biologist I at Freenome
