About
Your favorite rapper’s favorite producer knows Slop, no doubt. As the former A&R Director for Rawkus Records, production veteran, and founding member of some of the world’s most well-known producer collaboration hubs (Beat Fanatic, Battle Avenue, Beat Society, and the newly created zoom beat meet-up The Session-In), Slop’s ear for dusty samples and slick loops have earned him production credits with Danny Brown, Little Brother, Heltah Skeltah, Canibus, Cunninlynguists and many more.
Continuing to innovate and push the culture forward, Slopfunkdust is synonymous with the evolution of hip-hop production. Slopfunkdust is the sole producer on Mega Ran and Penny The Great’s forthcoming LP “Protoculture Season,” based on the hit anime series Robotech, aka Macross.
