John Long

With over 20 years of experience in post-production and video editing, I have developed a strong
understanding of video production processes and techniques, including color grading, sound design, and
motion graphics. My ability to craft compelling visual narratives that captivate audiences has been
honed through my work on a diverse range of projects, including corporate videos, commercials, short
films, and social media content.
In running my own production business, I have been responsible for managing the entire post
production process, from reviewing raw footage to final delivery. I am proficient in using industry
standard editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve, and have a
keen eye for detail and timing.
Furthermore, I am a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. I have experience working
with clients, directors, and other creatives to understand their vision and bring it to life through video. I
am also proactive in identifying opportunities to improve workflow and enhance the overall quality of
the final product.
I am excited about the opportunity to bring my skills and expertise to your organization and help you
achieve your video production goals. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to
discussing my qualifications further. Please review my portfolio, which also serves as my resume, at the
