Fusion typeface

Fusion font is a variable font family I made at the Faculty of Design under mentorship from Marko Hrastovec. It consists of 3 main parameters: width, weight and contrast which you can manipulate through a MIDI device. My work on this font involved using Python to connect the font to a MIDI device and create animated visualizations that responded to the sound generated by the device. This innovative approach not only pushed the boundaries of typography, but also demonstrated the potential for combining technology and design to create immersive sensory experiences.
