About
I’m Soonoh Chung, an interdisciplinary artist based in The Hague, NL, originally from Seoul, Korea. My practice spans painting, installation, performance, and design, with a strong emphasis on process and collaboration. I studied at the Frank Mohr Institute in Groningen and at Hongik University in Seoul, which shaped my approach to material experimentation and cross-cultural dialogue.
My work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions across the Netherlands and beyond, and I have received grants such as EKWC (2023) and Mondriaan Corona Bridging Grant (2021). I also hold scholarships from Hanze UAS and the Dutch Ministry, reflecting my ongoing commitment to exploring social and artistic inquiry through hands-on making.
