My name is Sofía Sáez. I completed a BFA in Communications Design at Pratt Institute and a MFA in Illustration at the School of Visual Arts in New York. During the last 18 years I have been working as a freelance graphic designer collaborating with different publishing houses, advertising agencies, design studios, and marketing departments designing magazines, developing corporate identities, brochures, logos, branding programs, books, book covers, institutional advertising, visual content, videos, webpages, landing pages, digital marketing and printed materials. I enjoy all the stages of production, (concept, design, prepress), and I am detail oriented. I have received some notable international recognitions for my work: 1. Participated in the first “Bienal de Diseño Iberoamericano (BID-08)” celebrated in Madrid, Spain. 4. Participated in Panamá Gráfico 09, an exhibition celebrated in Panamá City in 2009. 5. Award from the American Institute of Architects (chapter of Puerto Rico) for InFormA Magazine, magazine of the School of Architecture of the University of Puerto Rico.
