I wanted to explore how a certain method to creating a song chances the result. My first method was from a singer-songwriter perspective, resulting in an alternative ballad.
The second method involved me creating a beat and having artists create their own lyrics to it. It resulted in an R&B song with a rap verse.
The third method was more of a unique approach. I gave my session musicians a lyric sheet and a lead sheet, then had them interpret the song the way they see fit. This was more of a swing/rock mix.
I recorded, mixed, and mastered all three tracks.
