I’m Derek Evan Howell—an audio engineer, live sound professional, and independent recording artist with a strong background in production sound, mixing, and studio/live technical support. I’ve earned my BS in Audio Production with honors, and I enjoy shaping great-sounding recordings and smooth live shows through sound design, tracking, mixing, mastering, and hands-on stage engineering.
Alongside my audio work, I’m also trained in acting and clown performance, and I’ve built a career across event promotion and production coordination as a stage manager, promoter, and talent buyer. With additional expertise in sacred natural medicines and hands-on healing practices, I bring a grounded, service-oriented approach to every project—whether I’m running a festival, renting and producing events, or supporting artists from studio etiquette to artist development.
