I'm not going to pretend I have some perfectly curated content strategy origin story. I just really, really like people. How they think, what makes them laugh, why they engage on one post and scroll right past the next. That's kind of always been my thing, and eventually I figured out I could turn it into a career. I'm the owner of SPN Strategies, where I help entrepreneurs and small business owners show up on social media in a way that actually feels like them. Not a highlight reel, not a corporate script, just real. I specialize in Instagram and LinkedIn (personal profiles and company pages), and I also work in Facebook and TikTok when a brand calls for it. I've spent over a decade in digital content, social media strategy, and multimedia production: real estate, insurance, chambers of commerce, small business, you name it. Before starting SPN Strategies, I helped build and run social strategy and content development for a real estate brokerage (even landing one of the best real estate websites in the country, for what it's worth), managed digital communications for an insurance agency, ran operations for a local chamber, and spent time as a social media coordinator growing engagement 130% in two months for an insurance company (who's still one of my client today). I hate fake. If a brand's content doesn't sound like an actual human wrote it, I can tell. And so can your audience. My whole approach is built on one idea: social media is just one person talking to another person. So I build strategy around real behavior. What makes someone stop scrolling, what makes them trust you enough to comment, what makes them finally decide you're the person they want to work with. I'm also a big believer that consistency doesn't mean posting every single day. It means finding a rhythm you can actually stick to, and building from there. Overwhelm doesn't grow an audience. A plan you'll actually follow does. I'm sarcastic, I'm laid-back, and I genuinely love a good brainstorm. Some of my best ideas have come from a random conversation that spiraled into something great. I care about understanding your audience, not just knowing who they are on paper. I show up in the comments, not just the content calendar, because relationships start there. And I track what's working (and what's flopping) so we're always improving, not just guessing. I played competitive softball most of my life, and I never needed to be the loudest person in the room to prove I was good at what I did. I bring that same energy here — confident, a little funny, and let the results speak. You don't need a perfect plan. You need one that actually works for you. That's what I help you build.
