I’m Santiago Torres, musician and guitar player native from Colombia. My style comes from genres such as Rock, Pop, Jazz and Blues but my performance goes beyond, allowing me to reinvent myself in every musical situation. During my career, I have accompanied well-known national/ international artists, recorded numerous musicals, television productions and feature Tv shows, being MALUMA, MADONNA, JLO, BLACK EYED PEAS or performing at “NPR Tiny Desk”, “The Tonight Show” (x2), “Good Morning America” (x2), “The Voice” and Amazon Prime´s “Medallo En El Mapa” the most relevant I consider myself a accomplished guitar player full of excitement during live concerts as well as the recording studio, with more than 150 recorded credits, including Latin Grammy Winner in 2014 for Colombian singer “Fonseca“ in “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album” category, delivering always high production standards for the music industry. The experience of playing guitar in different styles, touring and recording guitars for several of the most recognized artists in Colombia, allowed me to join internationally known singer and Latin Grammy winner “MALUMA” and his band, one of the top Colombian artists in Latin music, for his “F.A.M.E Tour”, back in august 2018, my really first world tour. Nowadays I’m still playing guitar for MALUMA in his “Don Juan Tour”, his currently world tour and my fourth tour (F.A.M.E and 1111 world Tour, Papi Juancho Tour, Don Juan Tour) being part of his crew. This journey has taken us to several cities/countries all around Europe, South America, United States, Canadá, even Africa, where we perform for massive crowds in the most iconic venues and festivals around the world, such as the “57th Montreux Jazz Festival” in Switzerland, our performing at the “Fan-Fest” during the opening of Qatar 2022 World Cup, or even “One World At Home” by Global Citizen, remembered for being the first virtual concert streamed globally, where we also performed, which brought together important music and entertainment celebrities at the beginning of the 2020 pandemic…I’m Santiago Torres, musician and guitar player native from Colombia.
