EMS placement student at Towcester Farm Vets

Completed routine clinical exams and blood testing in calves and sheep, dehorning and disbudding cattle, castration, local anaesthetic blocks, and worm egg counts. Conducted rectal exams and pregnancy diagnoses in dairy and beef cattle; castrated and managed llamas and alpacas; assisted with alpaca blood transfusion and TB testing; participated in emergency visits including an RDA surgery, and treated hoof abscesses and corneal ulcers in small ruminants and alpacas.
