Visual arts have always been my passion, ever since I was a little kid. During my university studies, I became fascinated by the idea of exploring different realities and diving into how we perceive the world. I’m especially drawn to the way children so effortlessly find beauty in simple things. That’s what led me to the captivating world of children’s literature — kindly called "kidlit." From the bustling streets of downtown to the quiet corners of local neighborhoods, I find inspiration in everyday life. I love traveling and immersing myself in different cultures to learn as much as possible. The world is an endless source of ideas, and I enjoy experimenting with various mediums — photography, videography, collage, and writing — to bring my illustrations to life. I grew up in several cities across Brazil and I am based in France, constantly inspired by the country’s rich artistic and cultural heritage.

    uniE621 Hongbao
Chinese New Year is a vibrant celebration, marked by various symbolic traditions. One of them is the exchange of Hongbao envelopes, through which families pass on their blessings to the younger generation. In 2024, the dragon was the emblem of the year — a perfect opportunity to highlight this new generation through a dragon dance, believed to ward off evil spirits. illustrator
    uniE621 Into the sea
Commissioned poster, printed in fine art. The client requested an illustration featuring two whales in the ocean... and that was all. For this project, I aimed to capture the beauty of marine life. The vibrant colors contrast with the deep ocean blues to evoke the richness, diversity, and magic of the underwater world. The image invites viewers to dive into a contemplative journey through this fascinating, peaceful, and poetic universe. illustrator kidlit characterdesign nature ocean
    uniE621 Summertime
Illustration created for KidLitArtPostcard Day — an initiative by Brian LaRossa, Art Director at Scholastic. For this piece, and in keeping with the season, I chose to illustrate a vibrant and joyful celebration of summer. KidLitArtPostcard takes place on the first Thursday of each month on social media platforms. It aims to connect illustrators with publishing professionals in the children’s book industry. illustrator kidlit characterdesign
