Hello! I’m Sara, a concept artist and graphic design graduate.
Hello! I’m Sara, a concept artist and graphic design graduate. I specialize in colourful artworks and designs and am capable of adapting to different artstyles. I love exploring different artstyles and picking up new skills, making me a flexible artist to depend on.
My working experience primarily consists of graphic design work for Loopcraft, alongside illustrating a storybook for a local NGO and providing texture art for a game in-development. Despite this, I’m comfortable working across disciplines—from character and prop design to merch and social media visuals.
“Migrant workers are just like us” is a poem book written by Minah Faiz Rasheed, from MMWM (Mission for Migrant Workers Maldives, an NGO). The book encourages children to treat migrant workers with mutual respect and to appreciate their hard work and contribution to our society.
I got the pleasure of illustrating this book while working at Loopcraft, and it was officially published on November 21st 2021, in celebration of International Childrens Day.
Participated in local art markets; designed merchandise for my own brand and sold artworks at a local exhibition; led customer service and financial handling at art booths.
Design consultant for Island Hues, an art NGO in the Maldives that supports local artists.
Designed social media posts with ad copy provided by the marketing team, and assisted team members on other design projects. Also contributed visuals such as a lead texture artist role for an upcoming game, Itha’s Adventure, and illustrated a book for MMWM (Mission for Migrant Workers Maldives), a local NGO.
