sydninasada.com Designer | Illustrator | Creative Problem Solver 👩‍💻✍️👋 My work takes on many 2D styles, including flat cartoon, bold line art, semi-realism, and minimalism. Having started my artist journey at a young age in the traditional mediums of acrylic and pencil, I now find the most flexibility and joy in digital art. I am inspired by nature, travel, food, and positivity. I take a detail-oriented approach and use lively palettes to promote the humor and charm in everyday life. Procreate and my trusty iPad Pro/Pencil combo is mainly what I use to create. My BFA in Graphic Design, paired with a minor in Illustration, prepared me for the 6+ years of agency experience and 8 years of contract work I have received since. My illustration projects have included: two children’s books, editorial illustrations for a nonprofit publication, 5 seasons of shows for a children’s theatre, posters and booklets for a national museum, merch for events, and more. My skills combine to offer branding, packaging, digital illustration, storyboarding, print design, and advertising (web and print).

uniE621 Oklahoma Children's Theatre - Fairytale Ball Event Branding and Character Design
Full case study here: sydninasada.com/oct-fairytaleball-2025 Services: Event Branding, Character Design, Art Direction, Social Media, Email, Web Graphics An evening of dancing, raffles, dinner and activities, the Fairytale Ball is the Oklahoma Children’s Theatre’s most important event of the year. They chose the Alice in Wonderland theme and directed to make rose bushes the biggest focus. For “an evening of whimsy and enchantment” as the slogan, I wanted the event collateral to show attendees that it would be like stepping into a big, fantastical world. Just as Alice experiences in the well-known story. A rose is included in the logo along with a thorny border. Minimalistic roses and bushes are accompanied by elaborate garden gates, swirling vortexes and allusions to the 4 card suits. A whimsical typeface for the headers is paired with the more joyful Grandstander. The recognizable blue of Alice’s dress is used along with rose bush colors and neutral parchment paper-like tans. The Cheshire Cat’s famous grin can be found hidden throughout. graphicdesigner branding illustrator logo characterdesign aliceinwonderland
uniE621 Curbside Chronicle Publication - Cover Illustration
In May of 2021, Curbside Chronicle started a new column to feature vendors and their fond food memories. Since Curbside’s founding in 2013, more than a million copies of this street paper have been sold, creating an alternative to panhandling for the unhoused. Working under the Homeless Alliance, it’s helped more than 380 to secure housing, build relationships, develop money and time management skills, and to have a voice. Included here is a cover for the Tastes Like Home issue I created. I have also worked on all of the interior features since it was started. They include my food and portrait illustrations, each including an interview with the vendor and a recipe. More found here: https://www.twine.net/signin illustrator graphicdesigner editorial food
