Hi, my name is Taylor Batory and I’m an independent musician, composer and producer originally from Richmond, MI, USA, now residing in Ontario, Canada. I’m a graduate from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where I studied music and media arts. I also briefly attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA as part of their summer program. I first got inspired to pick up the guitar when I saw the movie School of Rock in theaters. My parents had gotten me a starter guitar for my birthday some time around 2005, and I’ve been playing guitar ever since. I also play bass, drums, and keyboard (very poorly). It wasn’t until about 2009 when I started writing my own music and I eventually started recording and self producing my songs in 2011 or so. Over time, I slowly cultivated my writing/mixing process and continue to refine it all the time, even now.
