In 2012, I dove headfirst into color grading. Completely self-taught in a market where high-end color resources were scarce, I built my company, Grade, from the ground up in 2013. I knew my passion, filled a gap, and quickly scaled my craft to a national level.
My approach is rooted in collaboration. I love partnering with directors and cinematographers to understand their exact vision and use color to elevate their hard work. For me, color isn’t just a technical step; it’s part of the emotional pulse that makes an audience feel a story before a single word is spoken.
That drive has allowed me to help hundreds of clients refine their visual narratives. My portfolio spans many national ad campaigns, feature films, and major music videos including Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’s “Downtown,” Tech N9ne’s “Face Off,” and even in-game Super Bowl spots for Wendy’s. You may have seen my before-and-after color breakdowns on projects like The House on Pine Street, which went viral and earned featured articles on Fstoppers and NoFilmSchool about the vital role of a colorist.
Working natively in DaVinci Resolve, I specialize in color grading and look development. I bring the same passion that built my business to every single frame I touch, ensuring the final image honors the efforts my clients and their teams took to capture it.
