I started as an intern at Soundtrack Boston, a 5 studio facility, and quickly became the head engineer by 1985. We mainly did VO production but I also specialized in music production. I moved to NYC to work at Soundtrack there. Again I did a mix of VO Production and MUSIC (Jingles and Record Label). In 1981 I moved back to my hometown of Ithaca, NY and built a Studio there. Then in 2006 Moved back to Boston to work at Soundtrack again. In 2016 I put together a studio in my home and turned to Freelancing, VO Production, Music, and Film Sound Design and Mixing. I've worked with artists such as Sly Stone, Whitney Houston, The Beastie Boys, Grand Master Flash, and Kool & The Gang. Jingles for L'Oreal, Coke, Coors Light, Hertz, and GE, General Motors. More recently for Progressive Insurance, BMW, Wrangler, ZipCar, TJ Maxx, MIT, Carl's Jr, Hannaford, Siemens, ADP, IBM, WB Mason, Capella, Frontier Cellular, Bank of America, Blue Cross Blue Shield. Besides working with Pro Tools since 1989, I also use Digital Performer, FL Studio, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop and many audio and visual tools.
