    I led a team of five engineers at TK Elevator to migrate an outdated Angular 1.5 application to Angular 15 over two years. This initiative was essential for enhancing the cyber security of the AGILE product line.

    Problem

    The existing Angular 1.5 application was becoming obsolete, posing potential security risks and performance issues. The project aimed to modernize the application to ensure better performance, scalability, and reduced external dependencies.

    My Contributions

    I developed the migration strategy and led the team through the transition. My expertise in Angular allowed me to implement best practices, mentor the team, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems, via tools like the dual boot system.

    Outcomes

    The migration saved TKE $1.1M in external resource costs and resulted in a robust and scalable application. It improved the product line’s efficiency and future-proofed it against technological changes.
