I am an illustrator whose works include Penny and the Stolen Chalice, Fluffles, Beebas, and Unicorns, and Sometimes It Rains. Inspired by the dynamic worlds of comic books, I fell in love with narrative art, a path that would define my career. Today I live just outside of Seattle with my beloved son, a socially awkward dog, and a cat who may or may not answer the phone if left alone. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Illustration and Graphic Design from Western Washington University, studied at Pacific Northwest College of Art, and I'm a member of the Society of Illustrators (New York / Los Angeles) and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
