    uniE608 Há Uma Hora | 100 years of Mário Cesariny
    "Há Uma Hora na Esplanada do Navio de Espelhos" is a sound experience that seeks to musically reinterpret the work and life of Mário Cesariny, and the legacy he left behind. This project was conceived as part of the Sound Design curricular unit of my Master's Degree, under the guidance of professors Mariana Seiça, Amílcar Cardoso and Jônatas Manzolli. I built this piece based not only on the author's work, but also on musical projects that were created in homage to him - through techniques such as sampling and reinterpretation, adding instrumentation created by me and even recordings of my own voice. My main goal was to combine the traditional format with a more experimental nature, as a finished product in a mixed and mastered music format, ready to be listened to on all kinds of devices. In addition to the final piece, I created a making-of video to show a bit of the process behind its creation. In the video, I highlight the sampling and recording process.
