Tomé Cota is a sound engineer and music producer from Portugal, currently pursuing an MSc in Music Engineering and Production at the University of South Wales. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Music and Music Production from the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco. His experience spans studio and live sound engineering, sound design, and collaborative artistic projects. He has worked on radiophonic drama pieces with the association Terceira Pessoa, produced music for fashion shows, and performed internationally through Erasmus initiatives in Germany and India. As part of his academic journey, Tomé developed a Disco House EP as his final project, focusing on original composition, production, mixing, and mastering with minimal reliance on samples — reflecting both technical precision and creative innovation. Alongside his academic and freelance work, he also performs as a bassist in a jazz ensemble. Fluent in Portuguese and English, Tomé brings a multidisciplinary background that combines technical expertise, artistic sensibility, and cross-cultural collaboration.
