Hi, I’m Antonio Ibarra, a visual artist and animator based in Southern California, currently in Northern California but willing to move if needed. I’m a graduate from California State University Fullerton, with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts and minor in Screenwriting. My art work focuses on character design, concept art, monoprints of my own designs or inspired by various artists, with a couple of animation tests. I collaborated in a few projects, such as a webtoon formatted comic inspired by fables, and frequent concepts with Adrian Africa. My main program of work is Clip Studio Paint, and I have experience with other programs such as FinalDraft, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. My aspiration is to make pop art inspired by colorful, lively characters, with a silly but intimate element to them. My preferred format is sketching, as seeing the conception of an idea before it sprouts and grows has always been fascinating to me, be it from a sketchbook or digital canvas.
