For years I have been involved in writing, both for professional purposes and creatively in a variety of fields. It would be my pleasure to apply these skills to the position offered as well as your company as a whole. I am also a Master of Fine Arts graduate of Art Center College of Design where I concentrated in Film. In addition to my film studies, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Tulane University. During my studies at Art Center College of Design I was also a teaching assistant, reviewing student assignments and correcting them in relation to what the assignment asked. During 2012 I was an assistant to a producer at La Lune Entertainment, a film production company in which my daily tasks included reviewing screenplays for potential film production and conducting internet research for future film projects. The following year I became an admissions coordinator at the Boston Architectural College, informing potential students about the school through marketing materials. For over two years I was also a regular writer for the Boston Compass, a locally published newsletter, and its sister website the Boston Hassle, working within the film section to promote and analyze films playing at nearby cinemas through printed material and its online website via WordPress. Additionally, for several months beginning in 2022, I also worked for Study.com as an online lesson writer, composing reading material on subjects concerning the humanities for persons taking online courses. The process also involved incorporating SEO keywords into the lesson body through the utilization of CMS software. Finally, I’ve most recently focused on creative writing, completing feature length scripts as well as composing multiple short stories. A number of the scripts have gone on to win awards at film festivals and place highly in screenwriting contests.
