I’m a cinematographer, filmmaker, and FAA-certified drone pilot currently based in Washington D.C. Born and raised in southern China, I spent a lot of time drawing, doodling, and sketching until I was introduced to photography in high school where I fell in love with telling visual stories through the lighting and framing of moving images. After working in LA, I earned my MFA in Cinematography. I have had the privilege of working on a diverse range of projects, from short films and documentaries to commercial advertising and corporate videos. Throughout the years behind a pencil and camera, I have developed an introspective approach to seeing the world and I strive to express these inner stories through cinematography.
