I’m Tati Mesa, a color witch and image alchemist—a Latin feminist woman who creates and connects through drawing, my lifelong way of exploring the world. I’m an illustrator and graphic designer trained in visual arts at the National School of Fine Arts (Montevideo, Uruguay). Since 2007, I’ve been moving between art and design. For over 13 years, I’ve worked freelance for companies, producers, entrepreneurs, and social organizations. My work has appeared in Revista Lento (since 2017). I joined the collective mural “Pintan las pibas” (2019), was a speaker at Creative Mornings Montevideo (2019), and taught editorial illustration workshops at UTU (2021–22). I also illustrated the Caja Baja Calendar (2022) and the book “197 Illustrated Stories” (2024). Curious and restless, I’ve explored theater, murga, costume design, printmaking, screen printing, muralism, advertising, cultural communications, and digital design. Yet drawing has always been there: my alchemy, the heart of my work. I create unique stories through illustration and co-create visual experiences. That’s what I do.
